Biography:

| Alexander Bazarin was born in 1963, in Nizhnii Novgorod. In 1991 Alexander Bazarin joined The Artists Union of Russia. He became the Laureate of the Second Biennale of Contemporary Art at the EXPOCENTER Gavan in St Petersburg. |

| Alexander graduated from Muhina Art School(Academy of Decorative Arts and Design), St Petersburg, in 1991. Since then he has lived and worked in St Petersburg. |

| Alexander Bazarin's style can be recognised by the unification of his personal Ego and impersonal timeless non-Ego, which is the consequence of his artistic search. His world is rather alien, the space is sterile, almost cosmic or fable, colours are cool and pure, creating an emotional tension. Together with the harmonious rhythm of his compositions this brings tranquillity and a lyrical mood to his work. |
