Education:

| Alfonso Fraile studied at the San Fernando School of Fine Arts, Madrid. Fraile's work founded itself in abstraction, but developed its own satirical, caricaturist expressionist style by the 1970s, which in turn made way for the final period of his work; typified by his grotesque portraits. Fraile is one of the most outstanding examples of Spanish Figuration. |
