| Alonso was born in Cabra (Spain). In Madrid he has worked giving drawing and painting classes at the famous CÃrculo de Bellas Artes. In 1966 he was honored with the CÃrculo de Bellas Artes First Prize for drawing. Later he withdrew from all public activity and dedicated himself soly to his work. The fruits of those years of silence were exhibited in his first personal show in 1984 (GalerÃa Loring, Madrid). In 1985 he was contracted by the Barcelona art magazine Gal-Art. Since last year he has worked in the Academia Libre de Arte y Letras in San Antón, Spain. He also works with the Group Puzzle. |
