| Peru-born Spanish artist Ernesto Maguiña is an emerging painter dedicated primarily to still-lifes in energetic colors with a slight CUBIST influence. Trained in Fine Arts at the National School of Fine Arts, Lima, Peru, Maguiña arrived to Spain, after a period of long travels across Latin America, where he lived in Chile, Argentina and Brazil. Between 1966 and 1970, the artist exhibited actively in Peru. Amongst his EXHIBITIONS are: Peru Museum of Art Museo de Arte del Perú; and GalerÃa Cultura y Libertad, Lima.
