| Frances Bildner graduated in Literature, from the University of New York. She also completed extensive studies of painting and drawing at, among others, the Parsons School of Design and the Sculpture Center, London. |

| In Frances' own words: I paint from my imagination. Much of my work stems from my subconcious. I am influenced by both the Abstract Expressionists and German Expressionists. The most important element for me in painting is colour. Everything I want to say is translated through colour and movement. |
