Honour:

| In 1993 José MarÃa Pinto was selected for the ARCHES 500 international competition. In 1995 he gained a Mention of Honour at the fiftieth anniversary of the Vizcaina Artistic Association and his work was also selected for the XLIV Autumn Room of the Superior School of Fine Arts Santa Isabel de HungarÃa in Seville. He received the Vela Zanetti second prize in 1998. That same year he was also selected for the I Certamen Nacional de Pintura by the Aitor gallery and the XI Concurso Nacional de Pintura in Cuidad de Frias. |
