| Lisbon, 1953 – An established Portuguese painter, designer and illustrator, Martim Lapa´s works blend the ABSTRACT and FIGURATIVE styles. Trained at the art and design school, IADE, in Lisbon, he also received training under Portuguese master painters, such as Manuel Lapa and Lima de Freitas. Martin Lapa currently teaches drawing at the IADE, as well. A selected list of his exhibitions is as follows: 1991
