| Born in Tycoma Washington in 1971 Michelle Myers Goodman moved to Jacksonville in 1992 where she began exhibiting her EXPRESSIONIST works. She received formal training at the Pratt Institute and the University of North Florida and continued to explore painting and mixed media techniques while an intern at the Guggenheim Museum, the Salvador Dalà Museum and the Jacksonville Contemporary Museum of Art. Her experimentation with texture and colour contributes to the psychological intensity of her figurative paintings. Michelle has exhibited in St Augustine, Jacksonville and Virginia.
