Colombia-born American artist, Orlando Boterio is a well-recognized Hispanic painter, in the U.S.

Orlando has sustained his artistic and philosophical dialogue in powerful paintings that reflect the artists own personal development and natural curiosity for more than twenty-five years. Articulating a vision of humanity with dignity, Orlando´s paintings give one an enlarged sense of life, both here and hereafter. There is a quality of empowerment one feels when viewing his work that enriches and alters the spirit and it is that profound power that lies at the core of his art.

Orlando Agudelo-Botero was the 1988 recipient of the White House Hispanic Heritage Award for the Visual Arts and is a former Trustee of the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts. His work is held in many important collections both private and public and his art is exhibited worldwide.
