| Ibiza, Spain , 1950 - A well known Spanish artist, Pere Planells’ work is primarily in the INFORMALIST style. The artist is also the instructor of drawing at the prestigious IES Els Trens Turons de Areyns de Mar, in Barcelona, Spain. Trained at the Sant Jordi School of Fine Arts, Barcelona, he also received training in filmmaking at the Independent Film School of Barcelona. He now holds a Doctorate in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona. His works can be found in numerous PRIVATE COLLECTIONS in various Spanish cities, France, Japan, and Belgium. |
