| 1928- American painter and printmaker, Ralph Goings is one of the leading SUPERREALIST / PHOTO-REALIST artists of his time. Trained at the California College of Arts and Crafts, Oakland, he works by projecting a slide or transparency onto a canvas, but uses traditional brushes, rather than the airbrushes preferred by most PHOTOREALIST artists. Exhibitions of Going’s works have been held at most major American galleries and museums. |
