Education:

| Rob den Boer studied sculpture at the Utrecht School of Arts. At the same time, he also attended evening courses to further develope his skills in graphics, particularly in etching and dry needle. |

| In the Artist´s own words: My drawings, etchings and sculptures share a common fascination for LINE, omission, proportions and coherence, which makes the surface breath and allows a natural balance between the artistic process and the treatment of the material. |

| Dutch-born Den Boer’s award-winning charcoal drawings and limited edition etchings are both abstract and minimalist. Yet with the bare minimum he expresses so much. He says I search for moments links that represent the continuous motion of waves returning repeatedly to nature and human life: the moments of timelessness. |
