| An emerging British contemporary artist, Helen Dryden is a talented painter, primarily working with POP imagery. Trained at the Leeds Metropolitan University (2000), Helen currently creates dream-like scenarios, with acrylics on canvas. In her own words: “My paintings are often brightly coloured and use Pop imagery and glitter to create a childlike nightmare world, populated by beautiful ladies, scary animals and made-up scenarios. The world of the grotesque, gothic, kitsch, and glamorous inspires me, and I work directly from my own daydreams and bad dreams.” |
