| Alabama, USA, 1948 – Established American-British artist, Susan Williams is an outstanding painter, sculptor and draughtswoman. Trained at the University of Northumbria, she has been active as a professor in the arts, since 1977. She has taught at De Montfort University, Leicester; Art and Design Foundation College, Newcastle upon Tyne; University of Northumbria, the University of Newcastle upon Tyne; and the University of Sunderland.
