I was fascinated by the emotions evoked by an image the juxtaposition of colors textures mosaics drawing. In addition to my paintings through my work I have also explored the art of sculpture and the variety of tools and materials such as sparkles or wood to create a new dimensional texture. This not only draws the eyes to an image but also creates the desire to touch. Having acknowledged that many themes have already been explored the goal is now to address a variety of subjects: from the lighter side of life to the darker side of one's emotions combining elements from the past and the present in a single image. The idea is to present a vision of the world using not only ideas from the past but also combining them with a modern-day vision and modern materials. |
