| Nuneaton, England Tony Bland is an ABSTRACT and EXPRESSIONIST painter. Tony was formed at the nuneatun college of technology and arts, and gained City and Guilds in Mechanical engineering at Nuneaton college of tecnology and art. 1995 - Began to get interested in arts due a personal tragedy. A number of his drawings went on show at the Nuneatun Museum Art Gallery. -Exhibited at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool, joint exhibition for British coal. Drawing. 1997 -Angle Gallery, James Street, Birmingham, Exhibited Paintings 1999 -Full Gallery Exhibition at the Nuneaton Museum and Art Gallery. Exhibited contemporary paintings. Interwieved by Nina Nannaar ITN“s arts correspondent, Featured on Midlands Today regional Television. 2000 -Exhibited at Shire Hall, Stafford. Interwieved by Pauline Thomas (Visual Arts Officer) -The past two years devoted to create bronze resin sculptures and experimenting in oil paint sculptures. Completed a numbre of oil paintings. -Exhibited at Shire Hall Art Gallery. 2004 - This year a painting was short-listed from thousands to appear at the Ardean Art Gallery in Cork street, London, which attracted artists from all over the world. -Also this year had a solo exhibition at Wednesbury Museum and art gallery for contemporary art.
