Biography:
Vicente Rojo was born in Barcelona, in 1932. In 1949 he moved to Mexico and gained Mexican citizenship.

Apart from his work as a printmaker and a sculptor, he has worked extensively as a graphic designer for numerous Mexican and Spanish national publications.
 
Honour:
Vicente Rojo has gained numerous important awards and honors in the course of his carreer. Some of these include:

1994: Made Member of the National School, Mexico.

1993: Gold Medal as a Merit to Fine Arts, Spain.

1991: National Prize for Arts and National Prize for Design, Mexico.
