Education:

| Antonio Villicaña first made contact with painting through his uncle, Manuel Pérez Coronado, paintor and founder of an art school. Later he enrolled in the University of Don Vasco faculty of Architecture. For the past ten years he has been Professor and head of the Drawing Department, Graphics Department and Descriptive Geometry Department of the same university from which he graduated. |

| My latest works are an important study for me of the plastic representation of the female figure. I am particularly interested in the management of shadow rather than light like a fluid that courses over the skin. In reference to landscape and costume I have learned to see them in the same way as I see my three small children playing explorers discovering the details of those hidden places on our planet with fascination and admiration. |
