| In the artist's own words: \I create my own dreams my own myth to make the reality of city life more to my own liking bitter sweet. To discover things I never knew existed or dared to look for to fall in love with strangers to sleep the short sleep of the restless and eternally busy only to discover more the next day. Underneath it all is creativity pulsing away like my steady heartbeat. Giving attention to the everyday so it becomes sacred and beautiful. The way we perceive our environment is completely up to us. It is our choice and state of mind that decides how we feel about it. We all walk the same streets but what we remember and feel about these streets will be quite different and unique as was my experience of San Francisco\ (December 1999) |
