| Colombia-based John Mira is an established photographer and frequent contributor to National Geographic, Geomundo and Diario El Tiempo. Mira received his training in Visual Arts and is currently a Professor at the Institute of Modern Sciences and University of the Andes, Bogota, Colombia. His accomplishments include: 1978.-2nd Prize. GalerÃa de Arte Moderno. Quito, Ecuador.
