| (1966, Buenos Aires, Argentina: Trained at the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies at the Buenos Aires University, Leonardo initially began working as a Graphic Designer and at the same time began studying painting, monography and engraving. Between 1989 to 1993, he began working as a freelancer designing large-scale backgrounds and sets for photographic studios and television. In 1991, he also received his degree in Graphic Design. In 1996, Leonardo started his own Graphic Design studio, Get Picture Design and Advertising. Since 1998, Leonardo has also been teaching graphic publicity and art history of the twentieth century at the “Nueva Escuela de Arte y Comunicación” in Buenos Aires. Leonardo Lezcano’s artworks bring together abstract expressionism enriched with shades of pop art. V. Kandinsky, P. Klee y M. Rothko are some of the artists who have influenced the artist along with movements, such as cubism, constructivism and primitism .
